01 July 2025: AG Lubricants, a trusted provider of premium lubrication solutions, has received approval to locally blend a selected range of lubricants for a prominent automotive manufacturer. This milestone supports the move toward increased localisation, with the aim of boosting employment and contributing to the country’s economic development.

Previously, the products in question were fully imported from Singapore, resulting in extended lead times and potential logistical delays. AG Lubricants’ role as the preferred local supplier is expected to significantly improve supply chain efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
The company’s state-of-the-art blending facility in Boksburg, Gauteng, one of only eleven independent Mobil™-approved plants globally, ensures the highest manufacturing standards are met. AG Lubricants successfully completed a rigorous quality assurance process, jointly conducted by Mobil™ and the automotive manufacturer’s technical teams. This validation reinforces confidence in AG Lubricants’ ability to deliver high-quality products aligned with global performance requirements.
With extensive technical expertise and advanced blending capabilities, AG Lubricants is well-equipped to meet demanding specifications. The collaboration includes the supply of gear oil products for some of the most popular vehicle models in the market.
