African Group Lubricants (AG Lubricants) a subsidiary of JSE-listed enX Group, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jake Govender from Sales Director to Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. He succeeds Mark Kerwan, who has moved on to new opportunities. The AG Lubricants board expressed gratitude for Mark’s contributions and leadership.
Jake has been with AG Lubricants for a decade, playing a pivotal role in driving growth and sales strategy, significantly expanding the company’s market presence and revenue, and earning various OEM awards.

He has demonstrated extraordinary leadership, a deep understanding of the market, and a vision for the future of AG Lubricants. Jake has been instrumental at AG Lubricants since 2014. We are confident that he will bring the same level of passion and strategic thinking to the CEO’s role that has driven his success as Sales Director.”
In his new role as CEO, Jake will oversee the company’s overall strategic direction, with a continued focus on growth, innovation, and delivering value to clients. He will also lead efforts to expand into new markets and enhance the company’s competitive edge in the Lubricants Industry.
