As South Africa’s mining sector continues to prioritise diversity, inclusion and sustainable transformation, Lesaka Payouts reinforced its commitment to meaningful industry engagement through its sponsorship of a hole at the 2026 Women in Mining South Africa (WiMSA) Golf Day, held at Randburg Golf Club on 15 May.
The event marked an important visibility and relationship-building opportunity for the newly rebranded business, formerly known as adumo Payouts, following its recent integration into the broader Lesaka fintech ecosystem.
Established in 2010, WiMSA is an independent, volunteer-run non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the personal growth, leadership development and career progression of women in the South African mining industry.
Through sponsorships and industry partnerships, the organisation has built a network of over 4 000 professionals across the sector, with initiatives focused on mentorship, STEM awareness, leadership development, networking and gender-based violence awareness.
Flagship fundraising and stakeholder engagement event
The annual WiMSA Golf Day has become one of the organisation’s flagship fundraising and stakeholder engagement events, bringing together sponsors, mining professionals and corporate leaders to support women-focused initiatives within the industry.

The event also provided an opportunity for Lesaka Payouts to strengthen stakeholder relationships ahead of further anticipated engagement with WiMSA during the organisation’s upcoming symposium in July 2026.
