The Milwaukee K2500 H produces 64 joules of impact energy to break large pieces of concrete over extended periods. The unique floating motor design features a spring-loaded system to reduce vibration. As a result, the hammer has an in-class vibration of 4.9 m2/s, believed to be the lowest of any 25 kg class breakers on the market today.

“A stand-out feature is the service-free striking mechanism that does not contain any O-rings on the striker. Therefore, the only maintenance required is 20 g of grease once every 40 hours, and that the chisel remains sharp,” Milwaukee Product Specialist Werner Koch explains.

A handy maintenance sticker sets out the maintenance schedule. The K2500 H comes standard with the Milwaukee tick-tracking system, which can be loaded onto the ONE-KEY™ app to alert end users to the next greasing interval.

The Milwaukee K2500 H features a 10-m-long cord, making it the longest-corded 25 kg class breaking hammer. The extended cord allows for added flexibility and operational effectiveness and the third handle allows for easy manoeuvrability. The brushless motor means the breaking hammer can also be run off a 7 kVA genset if need be

The new breaking hammer is currently being trialled at various customer sites, ranging from construction to gold-mining. Koch reveals that the feedback to date has been highly positive, with Milwaukee’s well-known durability and ruggedness making the K2500 H ideal for such arduous applications. “A contractor has run the Milwaukee K2500 H for 13 hours straight on a single shift, without it overheating once,” Koch highlights.

Tool servicing is vital and when tool issues arise Upat will strip and assess the condition of the tool in terms of wear-and-tear and any regreasing requirements, before returning it to the customer.

Milwaukee offers a standard one-year manufacturer’s warranty on all its tools, with the added advantage of extending this to three years by simply registering the tool on www.milwaukeetool.eu within 30 days of purchase. All batteries come with a two-year warranty.

Upat’s Milwaukee product specialists provide all customers with full training on the Milwaukee range. “Not only do we want to ensure our customers use their Milwaukee tools correctly and safely, but that they obtain the maximum benefit from the brand’s technology and features,” Koch concludes.
