Voith Commercial Vehicles Division has appointed Quintin Gruhn as key account manager, reporting directly to Frederick Smit, with effect from 1 November 2015. Gruhn will be responsible for nurturing profitable growth in Africa by being the main interface between Voith and selected key accounts, representing sales, service and parts. He has a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg. Gruhn has worked as a project engineer for AEL Mining Services, prior to which he was operations project manager.
Clyde Kadondo has been appointed field service technician, reporting directly to Mark Loubser, with effect from 1 November 2015. Kadondo is a qualified diesel mechanic with over ten years’ relevant experience. He most recently worked for Northwest Star Watloo as an artisan diesel mechanic. Kadondo will be responsible for hands-on technical installation, testing and repair, maintenance and/or repair of Voith retarder and DIWA transmission components.
