Professional services provider Health Insight spent the day at our offices, assisting employees with various testing such as: Blood pressure check, cholesterol and glucose levels, as well as HIV testing. Sister Katlego highlights the significance of Wellness Days for employees as being crucial, because most employees do not get the chance to do these types of tests. It was a hectic year in 2020, and people did not have opportunity for annual check-ups. It is critical to have these done so that you are well-informed about your health status.

The employees were grateful for this opportunity, saying that the convenience of having a Wellness Day at the KBC offices was much appreciated. The fact that the nurses were easily accessible and very professional was just one of the main benefits; having personal one-on-one time where they could explain everything in detail was also important.

Thank you to KBC for giving us this opportunity. We take these things for granted, such as having to get checked on a regular basis. For a health and safety company, it is quite awesome to ensure not only the company does well, but that the employees are taken care of also!
