Cloud onboarding is the future of HSE management for companies

28 October 2019
Cloud onboarding is the future of managing health, safety and environment (HSE) concerns for companies. For many corporates, any inefficiencies in this process can result in significant standing-time costs and lost production time. Sub-contractors are often faced with the issue of no centralised medical records, duplication of training, and extra travelling costs and time wastage.

Passport 360 is an innovative web-based system that provides a highly efficient solution to HSE contractor management, monitoring and recording vital information for HSE legal compliance. The individual record for life stores safety training history, medical fitness certificates and competencies per position of workers in the mining and construction industries, among others. This information is subsequently available at the click of a button, anywhere in real-time.

Passport 360 boasts a user-friendly interface with an exclusive focus on HSE contractor management. With support on all devices, the full functionality of the solution is just an online connection away. In addition, Passport 360 takes away the hassle of requiring IT support to maintain software systems, servers, networks, and back-up, as it is hosted in the cloud.

Other advantages are that all vehicles and large equipment can be loaded onto the system and thereby tracked to ensure that important safety criteria are adhered to at all times. Maintenance history, renewal tests, linked drivers and training modules are all captured for handy reference and access. Tools can also be linked, allowing for the creation of a separate tool register for each project.

A particular highlight of Passport 360 from a HSE perspective is that it gives advance notification of when any medical or safety licences are about to expire. This removes the burden of allocating an employee to manually verify these and issue reminders, which is both time-consuming and potentially error-prone.

“Passport 360’s pioneering health and safety cloud-based platform allows organisations to optimise their administration, health and safety, procurement, and compliance requirements in an integrated online environment,” Siobhan Whitehead, Director and Co-Founder of Passport 360, concludes.
